It has taken me about four years to get to the point of publishing. Originally I just wanted to record my life’s story primarily for my grandchildren. However a visiting soldier, seriously injured in Afghanistan, convinced me I should publish and said we really need inspiring examples of being able to enjoy a normal and successful life both in terms of family and business after recovering from horrendous injuries.I am very fit, 76 years young and who found an unexploded bomb when 11 years old and lost both legs and my left hand.I lead a very active and interesting life with a wonderful family - Marilyn to whom I have been married for over 50 years - daughters Suzanne and Natalie, grandsons Michael and Jack plus my lovely granddaughter Grace. I am proud to be the only disabled driver worldwide to have qualified for both an International Race and an International Rally Licence. I have competed in over 600 motorsport events, including 125 races plus British and World Championship rallies.I have completed a section for business activities charting from my being an article clerk to the Rank Xerox International Director of the Systems Business. From my dealings with the world famous Palo Alto Research Centre to adventures in Syria and involvement in a TV series called "Albie".I hope you enjoy the stories!
